Acrylic and gold flakes on canvas

This painting is all speaking highly of yourself. It shows a pair of colorful lips glowing with solid gold teeth. I wanted to remind us how powerful it is to talk kindly about ourselves. Looking at this painting, you're encouraged to see your worth and strengths. It's a colorful reminder to be confident and embrace who you are.
No matter what, you are worthy.

Life is known to bring people into your life and bring them out of your life when they have served their purpose. No matter how it may have ended, this transition can be a hard one. But always know no importance what you will continue to grow and prosper with or without them.

This painting is a continuation of experimenting with abstract movements in paintings. The painting demonstrates color patterns and movements that form the shape of a man in armor.

This is one of my favorite paintings that I have done. It is a remake of an old picture I created (seen in the last photo). For this painting, I wanted to add more colors to it and experiment more with value.
“All Seeing” is truly about seeing everything for what it is and accepting it.

This is a reversible painting, meaning you can flip it either way. I incorporated a face surrounded by abstract shapes and bold lines in the painting. I used shading and contrast to form the face and make the artwork flow together.

This painting reflects a period in life where we have left the past and previous behaviors and are now on track to reaching success. But Unfortunately, this time in life, no one ever talks about it. Instead, most people talk about how to let go of the past and look forward to the future.
No one talks about the plateau stage in life where it feels like you’re not going anywhere. You’re not going down, and you’re not going up. You’re stuck in constant work on yourself. We must not allow ourselves to give up.
All we can do is be in the moment and continue the journey.

Angel number 9494 talks about how good things do not come easily. Life is filled with changes and constant fear of the unknown. At times we may feel like we are failing because life is not going according to our plan or it’s not as easy as we expect it to be. When I received this message it was a great reminder that the sun still shines after the storm.
It is not an easy road, so be gentle with yourself.

This painting is a re-creation of one of the original pieces that I had completed four years ago called, “ Octopus Woman”.(Shown in the last picture). I decided to stick with the same concept but add zentangle patterns and textures to the painting.

I didn’t have a plan with this painting. I created faces within different abstract shapes and used simple, bright colors. I displayed strong contrast in the painting by using black up against the colors. I added value change to the shapes and faces.

For this painting, I wanted to experiment with new colors such as salmon. My favorite part about this painting is the shading on the faces. I think it helps with defining the facial features.

At this time, we must unlearn our old habits and learn to become more connected to our needs. Some of us have been stuck in our old ways because that’s all we know. It’s our comfort zone. But now comes a time where those habits no longer serves us. Of course it’s hard to let go what’s familiar to you. Honor those emotions and allow them to come. This is an “undoing and redoing” process , be patient with yourself .

How a person exhibit themselves isn’t always a reflection of what going on internally. There may be some challenges they face and lessons they were taught that we know nothing about.
With this painting, I wanted to present that message by incorporating mixed media. I used old magazines, and burned line paper. I tried not to add too much details to the face, but rather make it simple so it can be a focal point in the painting. If you look closely, there is hidden messages within the torn papers.

I rarely work with negative spaces in paintings. I always been taught to fill the page and never leave anything open.
With this painting I wanted to challenge myself and experiment with negative spaces while still adding colorful value changes .

This painting was inspired by a dream that I had. In the dream the world was coming to an end and the sky had opened up. People, the chosen ones, were being beamed up to the sky away from the destruction of Earth.
This painting was challenging because I wanted to make sure that it was depicting my dream correctly.
The colors came out amazing and the focal point of the picture has beautiful contrast to it.
